What do the ratings mean?
The "A" ratings represent Amazon sales rankings. The first number is the
current Amazon sales rank, and the second number is the "moving
average," which takes into account the current and recent ratings.
The "NYT" ratings represent NYT BestSeller rankings.
Why is more than one book listed "first"?
The NYT BestSeller lists divides novels into "hardcover" and
"softcover," but we do not. Sometimes the hardcover NYT-bestseller
and the softcover NYT-bestseller both make it on to our lists. In
those cases, you'll see two books listed as "NYT: 1."
How often are the rankings updated?"
About once an hour.
